Krzysztof Piatek : Is needed by Chelsea and Manchester United for €40m
Krzysztof Piatek looks set to be one of the big January transfer window sagas.
The striker has garnered huge interest across Europe espacially Chelsea after an impressive start to the new season.
The Poland international was a relative unknown this time last year, plying his trade for KS Cracovia.
Now he is one of the most sought-after players on the continent.
Piatek has played the full 90 minutes in all of Genoa's seven Serie A games this season and has scored in every one of them.
He opened his account after just five minutes of his debut against Empoli and he has gone from strength-to-strength ever since then.
His tally of nine goals in seven Serie A games is hugely impressive, and not only that but he netted his first Poland goal in his second appearance for his country during the 3-2 defeat to Portugal on Thursday night.
Piatek is hot property and will be the subject of much interest come January, despite the fact that Genoa director Giorgio Perinetti said they would "absolutely exclude" the possibility of their star man leaving the club.
